We believe that persons who suffer from alcohol/drug abuse and get involved in the Criminal Justice System, as well as the public, are better served when individuals are
offered an alternative to sentencing. Access to treatment can seek to restore lives, relationships, and productivity. For every dollar spent on treatment, our society saves approximately $7.00. Only by providing interventions can the underlying cause be addressed and the cycle of incarceration by broken. If you are stuck in the revolving door, CCherish Counseling & Consulting Services can help. We can assist clients in self-determining their status when it comes to alcohol or substance abuse. We provide assessments, DOT-SAP evaluations, assessments, interventions, DUI/DWI classes, individual counseling, anger management classes as a result of alcohol-related charges, referrals, recommendations, evaluations, and follow-up services.
CCherish Counseling & Consulting Services is credentialed in both mental health and addiction services in the states of Tennessee and Kentuck. Our program offers Prime for Life based on Kentucky or Tennessee laws. DUI/DWI assessments, and DOT-SAP evaluation and assessments. By Tennessee law, the maximum length of treatment for a 1st-time DUI offender is 9 days and the minimum is 12-hrs of education. The education has to be completed within the 90 day period. The maximum length of treatment for a multiple offender is 1 year. The minimum length of time 2nd-time DUI offenders are in treatment may be reduced to no less than 26 weeks if the counselor feels good progress has been made. Third time and subsequent DUI offenders’ maximum length of time in treatment is 1 year and by law, this cannot be reduced. Only the number of DUI’s in the past 5 years is counted. The number of DUIs (in the past 5 years) and the assessment will be used to determine the level of care. Level of care can include 12-hour education program, individual and group counseling or referred, depending on the clients’ issues of concern. Our program does not offer intensive outpatient, residential transitional living or detoxification treatment.
CCherish Counseling and Consulting Services is a non-judgemental program that promotes empathy, self-determination and the strengths of the client to assist them in empowering themselves toward change.
